ACTIVITY
DIRECTIONS:
1. Use a 4x4" square of gold foil (optional: fold in a 1/4"
on all sides to eliminate sharp edges).
2. Discuss profiles and the basic shapes in a face.
3. Use a dull pencil to draw profile on (front) gold side.
4. Using a carpet sample/cloth as a surface, use a popsicle stick on reverse
silver side to create relief in certain areas (shaded areas).
5. OPTIONAL: Lightly smear on a coat of shoe polish to give aged look.
6. Cover cardboard squares with cloth or decorate with pastels to create
a frame. Punch a hole at top center for hanging.
7. Use glue gun to attach foil portrait onto cardboard frame.QUESTIONS
